Securo Discord bot (Application ID 1493175316020203580) ยท Effective 9 November 2026

Securo is a Discord bot that protects servers from nukes, raids, spam and scams. This policy explains what data Securo uses, why, and how you can have it removed.

Data we store

Securo stores only what it needs to protect a server. It is kept in Securo's own database on its hosting server.

DataWhy
Server, channel and role IDs, and the settings a server owner choosesTo remember how each server has set up Securo
User IDs on whitelists, extra-owner and trust listsSo trusted people are not punished by anti-nuke
User IDs of verified members, and AutoMod strike countsVerification and escalating AutoMod punishments
The role IDs a member had when an attacker wrongly kicked or banned themTo give their roles back when they rejoin
Backups of channel and role layouts (names, positions, permissions)To rebuild a server after a nuke

Data we use but do not store

  • Message content is checked in memory to find scam links, QR-code login scams, leaked tokens, spam and banned words, and is then discarded. It is not saved to Securo's database. If a server turns on message logs, deleted or edited messages are posted into that server's own log channel on Discord. Recently deleted messages are kept in memory for a short time for the snipe command and are lost on restart.
  • Member events (joins, leaves, role and nickname changes) are used for anti-raid, verification and logs.
  • Presence (online status) is used only for the optional Staff Status panel, only for staff members, and is never saved.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone for advertising.
  • We do not use message content or any Discord data to train machine-learning or AI models.
  • We do not send unrequested direct messages. Welcome DMs are off unless a server owner turns them on.

Third-party services

  • The channel-setup command sends the theme word an admin types (for example "gaming") to Groq to suggest channel names. No other text is sent.
  • GIF features send the search word to Tenor or GIPHY.
  • Securo runs on Discord and is also covered by Discord's Privacy Policy.

How long we keep data

Server data is kept while Securo is in that server, so protections keep working. Saved roles of wrongly removed members are kept only until they are given back. You can ask for any data to be deleted at any time.

Your choices

  • Server owners can turn off any module, logging or the Staff Status panel from Securo's panels.
  • Removing Securo from a server stops all data collection for that server.
  • Anyone can ask for their data to be deleted or for a copy of it through the contact below. We answer within 30 days.

Children

Securo is meant for people who meet Discord's minimum age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date.

Terms of Service

Effective 9 November 2026

By adding Securo to a server or using its commands, you agree to these terms and to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Using Securo

  • Use Securo only to moderate and protect servers you own or are allowed to manage.
  • Do not use Securo to harass people, spam, or break Discord's rules.
  • Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the bot.

Automatic actions

Securo takes automatic actions (deleting messages, timeouts, kicks, bans, removing roles, rebuilding channels) based on the settings a server owner chooses. Server owners are responsible for how they configure it.

No guarantee

Securo is provided "as is". We work hard to stop attacks and restore damage, but we cannot guarantee that every attack is stopped or every change is undone, and we are not liable for lost data or damage to a server.

Ending access

We may stop providing Securo to a server or user that breaks these terms. You can stop using Securo at any time by removing it from your server.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continuing to use Securo after a change means you accept the new terms.
